Every year, Lunar hosts the "Srujan ", a design contest, conducted in collaboration with MNVTI, Pune  aimed at nurturing the creative talents of enthusiastic young women. MNVTI is a vocational training institute for women  and is a part of a women educational institute MKSSS  founded  by visionary Bharat Ratna Maharshi Dhondo Keshav Karve in 1896. 

 

Competition embraces unique idea of grouping students from all three years of college, which cultivates a culture of mutual collaboration, team building , and exchange of perspectives to meet the demand of the competition. Groups work on various interior design themes such as residential, commercial space design for 2 months  and then are judged by experienced industrial experts on a group basis. Lunar actively leads in funding, deciding competition themes, coordinating different competition events, finalizing jury, and overall organization of the event. Goal is to  empower women by  developing professional  skillset and fostering  a culture of collaboration, team building, and leadership. We take feedback from the participants to improve the competition each year.

 

Srujan competition not only celebrates creativity but also encourages participants to push the boundaries of their imagination, fostering an environment that cultivates and propels forward the next generation of design visionaries.
